Sonos ZP-90 with Pandora radio streaming at 192kbps through a Cary Audio Deisgns 32-bit Sciter DAC into a Tube Fidelity BADA DC-222 hybrid integrated amp with four JJ ECC802S tubes in the pre-amp and on out to a pair of Monitor Audio GS10 bookshelf speakers. This is after a couple of months of upgrading and adding in new pieces and cables everywhere, as you can see the difference from the first video. The speaker cables are Cardas Crosslink. 8.4ft with bi-wire. Entry level cable and sounds pretty decent. These wll be upgraded next. Of the two aftermarket powercords, one is also from Cardas, known as the Cardas Cross. Very good PC in my opinion. It is the one connected to the amp in the burnt copper color jacket. The other PC, by Mojo Audio is perhaps the best PC I've tried yet. This one is the Cross-Helix 8AWG feeding the DAC and upon adding it I thought I made a major component change. The sound opened up, became fluid, almost velvety. I wanted to listen. Piano is my new favorite because it just sounds that good. If you spend 00 on a DAC, give it a good PC. This one runs about 0 but well worth it. My primary cd source is the infamous Sony PS3. For hardcore audiophiles this may be an insult. But it is truly an amazing little 0 machine. I run optical out to the dac and it sounds very good. (of course, this video was to showcase the ability of low-quality internet radio playing on a capable system.
