j4f bought the z-2300 from logitech. the speakers are not that bad, with this setup it sounds rly good and clear...bass shut never turn up over 60% otherwise it will just sound ugly. jusing dfx 9 for windows media player - pro version, without this it just sounds ugly and not so clear. its a good system for casuals and sounds same as the z-5500 (hooked up to my tv)..just 2.1 not 5.1 The Song is : Smash Mouth - All Star
